मुकुटाक्षिप्त मालिनी। 

हसत्प्रहसत तुत्तारे 

मार लोक वशङ्करी ॥

ॐ तारे तुत्तारे तुरे सर्वमारा त्र मर्ताय हूँ फेड स्वाहा

Homage to you whose very joyful and shining crown ornament Radiates a garland of light. Who with your mirthful laughter of TUTTARA, Subdue the demons and worldly gods.

“Tara who Dispels all Sorrows” Beautiful, peaceful, and red like ruby or coral, with one face, two eyes, and four arms.

Sits upon a white moon disc and a red lotus.

From SA comes a red Tara.

Makes palms-folded gesture of ‘Great Joy’ with first pair of hands at her crown.

Wields up a blazing sword with second right hand.

Holds a branch of an ashoka tree with second left hand.

Adorned with divine silk and jewel ornaments.

Crowned by green Amoghasiddhi Buddha.

Function is to dispel sorrow, and her rites are for entering the mandala.
