“Tara of Auspicious Light”

Also known as Mangalavabhasa Tara or the ‘Granter of Prosperity’.

Peaceful and golden-yellow in color with one face, two eyes, and eight arms.

Sits upon a white moon disc and a multicolored lotus.

From A comes a yellow Tara.

Holds an iron trident and a radiant jewel in her first pair of hands.

Wields two identical iron hooks with her second pair of hands.

Holds a vajra and a club with her third pair of hands.

Holds a sword and a golden flask with her fourth pair.

Adorned with divine silk and jewel ornaments, with a white crescent moon on her crown.

Crowned by red Amitabha Buddha.

Makes wishes come true, throughout all space and time

Her rituals relate to the sacrificial fire-offering or homa ritual.
