Wrathful appearance with upward-streaming hair.

Usually depicted standing.

She has the pratyalidha posture, with left leg extended.

Sits or stands upon a golden sun disc and either a yellow or red lotus.

From TU comes a black Tara.

Fierce and black in color with a wrathful expression, two piercing eyes, and four arms.

Holds a golden wheel and blazing iron sword in right hands.

Holds a rope-noose at the level of her navel and makes threatening tarjani gesture with left hands.

Adorned with divine silk and jewel ornaments, tawny hair-locks adorned with snakes.

Crowned by yellow Ratnasambhava Buddha.
